Crochet butterfly stitch

Guide

Materials

Fingering weight yarn, and crochet hook size 2.5 - 2.75 mm / C.
You may use any yarn of your choice, and a suitable hook.

Row 2: Make 1ch, work 1dc/sc in each of next tr/dc below, 1dc/sc in third ch, turn.

Row 6: Make 1ch, work 1dc/sc in each of next 5dc/sc below,

* Make body and antennas of butterfly: make 1 BPdtr/tr over tr/dc (see pictures),

{5ch, skip 2ch, work 1slt in each next 3ch} – make two times, work slt in BPdtr/tr and 1 BPdtr/tr over same tr/dc.

Repeat rows 2 – 13 until you have reached your desired length.

Color combination with beige & pink

Colors & rows: * 1, 2, 3 & 4 – beige, 5 – pink, 6 – brown, 7, 8, 9 & 10 – white, 11 – light pink, 12 – brown *.
