For 1 round make 6 chains (chs) and join it to the ring by slip stitch (sl.st). Than work 6chs and 15 double treble / treble (d.tr/tr – in key: British term / American term) with 1 ch between in ring of 6 chs, after that work 1 chs and join it to fifth of 6 chs by sl.st.

2 round: 3 chs, than work 2 treble/double crochet (tr/dc) in each space of 1 ch and 1 tr/dc in d.tr/tr of previous round. At the end make sl.st in third of 3 chs.

3 round: here we need to make 20 holes around 28 tr/dc of previous round. For first hole make 1 ch (instead dc/sc) and 5 chs, miss 1 st and make 1 dc/sc in next. For all next holes make 5 chs and 1 dc/sc but miss stitches in the following order 3 times: 2 – 1 – 2 – 1 – 1 and 1 time: 2 – 1 – 2. Make 2 chs and 1 tr/dc in first of 6 chs (which was made instead dc/sc).

4 round: make 20 holes around previous holes. For first hole make 1 ch (instead dc/sc) and 5 chs, 1 dc/sc in space of 5 chs below. For next 18 holes make 5 chs and 1 dc/sc. For last hole make 2 chs and 1 tr/dc in 1st of 6 chs (which was made instead dc/sc).

5 round: for this round make in each hole group of 3 tr/dc + triple picot and divide it by 2 chs. For the first group make 3 chs, 1 tr/dc, triple picot, 1tr/dc in space of 5 ch and 2 chs. For the next each 19 groups work: 2tr/dc, 1 triple picot, 1tr/dc and 2 chs.

How to make triple picot:

This element consists of three simple picots. For one picot in the middle we will make 5 chs and for two from both sides – 3chs. Each picot joins to ring by sl.st.

At first make 3 chs, look at the pictures given below and insert hook through two loops of tr/dc, make sl.st. Work 5 chs, insert hook in the same space and work sl.st. Again make 3 chs, insert hook in the same space and make sl.st.

At the end of fifth round make sl.st and cut the thread.

The motif consists of two rounds. For the 1 round make 4 chs and join it to ring by sl.st, work 3 chs and 15 tr/dc into the ring, sl.st in third ch.

2 round: make group of 2 tr/dc + triple picot and divide it by 2 chs. For the first group make 3 chs and 1 tr/dc in next stitch, 2 chs (triple picot we will do at the end of the round). For the next 7 groups work: 1tr/dc in next stitch, 1 triple picot, 1tr/dc in next stitch, 2 chs.

For last triple picot work at the end 1 sl.st in third ch and 1 sl.st in first tr/dc, than work in the same space triple picot. Cut the thread.

All motifs connected by the triple picot, namely one of 5 chs. For that make instead third chain 1 dc/sc ( 2 chs, 1 dc/sc in the picot of another motif, 2 chs, sl.st). The picture below shows the formula how to connect motifs.
