Shell – shell: make 9tr/dc in same ch.

Foundation Chain: Multiples of 8 + 2
Skip 1ch, * 1dc/sc in next ch, skip 3ch, shell in next ch, skip 3ch; rep from *, 1dc/sc in last ch, turn.
make 6ch, * 1dc/sc in middle (fifth) tr/dc of shell below, 3ch, 1tr/dc in dc/sc below, 3ch; rep from *, 1dc/sc in middle tr/dc of shell below, 3ch, 1tr/dc in last dc/sc, turn.
make 3ch, work 3tr/dc + 1ch in each space of 3ch, make 3tr/dc in last space of 6ch, 1tr/dc in third ch and turn.
make 1ch and 1dc/sc in first tr/dc, * work shell in next 1ch (between tr/dc), make 1dc/sc in space of 1ch; rep from *, work shell in next 1ch, make 1dc/sc in third ch, turn.
Repeat rows 2 – 4 until you have reached your desired length.
Colors & rows: 1 - 16 – beige; 17 – dark green; 18 & 19 – light green; 20 – dark green; 21 & 22 – light beige; 23 – dark green; 24 & 25 – white; 26 – dark green; 27 & 28 – beige; 29, 30 & 31 – dark green; 32, 33 & 34 – grass green; 35, 36 & 37 - light beige; 38, 39 & 40 – light green.
