Materials
Fingering weight yarn, and crochet hook size 2.5 - 2.75 mm / C.
You may use any yarn of your choice, and a suitable hook.
Techniques used in this stitch
UK / US crochet term:
Chain stitch – ch
Double crochet / Single crochet – dc/sc
Double treble / Treble – d.tr / tr
Front Post dc / sc – FPdc/sc: work just like normal dc/sc but insert your hook from front to back between the first and second stitches of the row below, and then from back to front again between the second and third stitches.
Shell – work 3d.tr + 2ch + 3d.tr in the same space.
Stitch – st
Foundation Chain: Multiples of 8 + 2

Row 5: 1ch, work 1dc/sc through 1st and 5th dc/sc below, * shell in space of 1ch, 1dc/sc through 1st and 7th dc/sc below; rep from*, shell in space of 1ch, 1dc/sc through 1st and 5th dc/sc below, turn.
Repeat rows 2 - 5 until you have reached your desired length.
Color combination with blue & beige - 100% cotton yarn.

Color combination with cyan & white - 100% cotton yarn.
