You can easily adapt it to different projects. Leafy Rib can be worked wider, and the cables can be replaced with Twin Cable stitch or Hugs and Kisses Cable stitch or combined with either of them in the same piece.

What You’ll Need

Yarn & tools:

  • This stitch works with a variety of yarns, but shows best in soft, elastic fibers with smooth structure. The swatch shown here are made with DROPS Karisma, a worsted (DK) weight yarn.
  • We recommend using a hook 1–2 sizes larger than the label suggests for a more relaxed, wearable fabric.

Skill Level: The techniques involved are not difficult. The combination, however, calls for close attention to the instructions and the chart. Suitable for intermediate crocheters.
