Purl knot & Diamonds stitch

A ribbed fabric with Purl knots worked over it, resembling knitted moss or seed stitch. The knots can be arranged in any order you choose, as the diamond swatch shows, and the result has a texture similar to knit-and-purl stitch patterns.
