UK / US crochet term:

Double Treble / Treble – d.tr /tr
Picot of 3ch - picot
Stitch – st
Foundation Chain: Multiples of 10 + 2
Row 1: skip 1ch, * 1dc/sc in next, 1ch, skip 4ch, 7d.tr/tr in next ch, 1ch, skip 4ch; rep from*, 1dc/sc in last ch, turn.

Row 2: Change the color of yarn and fasten to first dc/sc below. Work 2ch, 1dc/sc in space of 4 foundation ch, * 11ch, 1dc/sc in next space of 4 foundation ch, picot, 1dc/sc in next space of 4 foundation ch; rep from *, 11ch, 1dc/sc in next space of 4 foundation ch, 1dc/sc in last dc/sc below. Don't turn.

Row 3: Change the color of yarn and fasten to first dc/sc below. 5ch, 3d.tr/tr in the same dc/sc below, * 1ch, work 1dc/sc in 4th d.tr/tr of shell below and in space of 11ch (see pictures below),


1ch, skip 1row, 7d.tr/tr in dc/sc of next row below (dc/sc between shells); rep from*, 1ch, work 1dc/sc in 4th d.tr/tr of shell below and in space of 11ch, 1ch, 4d.tr/tr in last dc/sc below, turn.

Row 4: Change the color of yarn and fasten to first d.tr/tr below. 1ch, 1dc/sc in fist d.tr/tr below, 5ch, * skip 1row and work 1dc/sc in space of 1st 5ch below, 1picot, work 1dc/sc in next space of 5ch below, 11ch; rep from*,

Row 5: Change the color of yarn and fasten to first dc/sc below. 2ch, * skip 1row, 7d.tr/tr in dc/sc of next row below (dc/sc between shells), 1ch, work 1dc/sc in space of 11ch and in 4th d.tr/tr of shell below , 1ch; rep from *,

Row 6: Change the color of yarn and fasten to first dc/sc below. 2ch, skip 1 row, 1dc/sc in space of 5 ch of next row below, * 11ch, skip 1row and work 1dc/sc in space of 1st 5ch below, 1picot, work 1dc/sc in next space of 5ch below; rep from *, 11ch, skip 1row and work 1dc/sc in space of 1st 5ch below, 1dc/sc in last dc/sc below. Don't turn.


Repeat rows 3 - 6 until you have reached your desired length.

Colors & rows: row 1: dark blue, row 2: light blue, row 3: dark blue, row 4: brown, row 5: light blue, row 6: brown, row 7: light blue, row 8: beige, row 9: brown, row 10: beige, row 11: brown, row 12: dark blue, row 13: beige, row 14: dark blue, row 15: beige, row 16: light blue. Repeat colors with the first row.
