Treble / Double crochet – tr / dc

Puff stitch – Puff: yarn over hook, insert hook in ch (or space of 1ch), yarn over, draw through stitch. Repeat preceding step more 2 times.

Yarn over and draw yarn through loops pf Pff (through first 6 loops),

yarn over and draw yarn through 2 loops on hook.

Shell of Pff – shell: wor 1Pff + 1ch + 1Pff in same ch (or space).

Foundation Chain: Multiples of 10 + 5

Row 1: Skip 4ch, 1Pff in next ch, * skip 4ch, shell in next; rep from *, work 1Pff + 1ch + 1tr/dc in last ch, turn.

Row 2: Make 6ch, work 1dc/sc over foundation ch between Pff and shell, * Make 9 ch, 1dc/sc over foundation ch between two shells; rep from *, 5ch, 1dc/sc in third ch, turn.

Row 3: Make 4ch, work Pff in space of 4ch of Row 1,

* work shell in shell; rep from *, make 1Pff in space of 1ch of Row 1, 1ch, 1tr/dc in tr/dc of Row 1, turn.

Row 4: Make 6ch, work 1dc/sc in space between Pff and shell of Row 1

* Make 9 ch, 1dc/sc in space between two shells of Row 1; rep from *, 5ch, 1dc/sc in third ch (of Row 3), turn.

Repeat rows 3 – 4 until you have reached your desired length.

Colors & rows: * 1 - dark blue, 2 & 3 - blue , 4 & 5 - white, 6 & 7 - lime , 8 & 9 - white, 10 & 11 - blue , 12-16 – dark blue *.
