Row 3: Make 1ch and 1dc/sc in dc/sc below, * 20ch, skip 1st, 1dc/sc in next; rep from *, work 1dc/sc in last dc/sc below at the end of row, turn.

Row 4: Make 9ch, * take three loops of 20ch and begin braiding them (see pictures).

Work 2tr/dc in top space of each loop; rep from *,

Make 1ttr/dtr in last dc/sc below and turn.

Row 5: Make 2ch, 1htr/hdc in each of next tr/dc below, turn.

Row 6: Make 1ch and 1dc/sc in first htr/hdc below, work 1FPdc/sc over each of next htr/hdc below, 1dc/sc in second ch, turn.
