Techniques used in this stitch
Chain stitch – ch
Double crochet / Single crochet – dc/sc
Treble / Double crochet – tr / dc
Picot of 5 half tr / half dc puff stitch – picot: 3ch, 1 puff.st in two loops of tr/dc, 1ch, sl.st in the same space of tr/dc.
Shell: work 3tr/dc + 2ch + 3tr/dc in the same space of 2ch (or in the same foundation ch).
Stitch - st
Make 14 foundation chains.
Row 1: Skip 3ch, shell in next ch, skip 2ch, 1dc/sc in next ch, 3ch, skip 3ch, shell in next, 1dc/sc in last ch, turn.

Row 2: 3 ch, shell in shell, 1dc/sc in last tr/dc of shell below, 3ch, shell in shell, 2ch, 1dc/sc in 3rd ch, turn.

Row 3: 5ch, 1tr/dc in 1st tr/dc of shell below, 2ch, shell in shell, 1dc/sc in last tr/dc of shell below, 3ch, shell in shell, 1tr/dc in 3rd ch, turn.
Row 4: 3ch, shell in shell, 1dc/sc in last tr/dc of shell below, 3ch, shell in shell, 2ch, 1tr/dc in last tr/dc of shell below, 2ch, 1tr/dc in next tr/dc below, 2ch, 1tr/dc in 3rd ch, turn.

Row 5: 5ch, 1tr/dc in next tr/dc below, 2ch, 1tr/dc in next tr/dc, 1 picot, 2 ch, 1tr/dc in 1st tr/dc of shell, 2ch, shell in shell, 1dc/sc in last tr/dc of shell below, 3ch, shell in shell, 1tr/dc in 3rd ch, turn.

Row 6: 3ch, shell in shell, 1dc/sc in last tr/dc of shell below, 3ch, shell in shell, 2ch, 1tr/dc in last tr/dc of shell below, * 2ch, 1tr/dc in next tr/dc below; rep from * 2 times, 2ch, 1tr/dc in 3rd ch, turn.

Row 7: 3ch, *1tr/dc in next tr/dc below, 2ch; rep from* 3times, 1tr/dc in 1st tr/dc of shell, 2ch, shell in shell, 1dc/sc in last tr/dc of shell below, 3ch, shell in shell, 1tr/dc in 3rd ch, turn.
Row 8: 3ch, shell in shell, 1dc/sc in last tr/dc of shell below, 3ch, shell in shell, * 1ch, skip 1 space of 2 ch, shell in next space; rep from *4 times, 1ch, work 1dc/sc into 3rd ch of 1st row (work 1dc/sc in last tr/dc of shell for each of the next repeated "Row 8"), turn.


Row 9: 1ch, *9tr/dc in space of 2ch of shell, 1dc/sc in space of 1ch between shells; rep from *4time, 2ch, shell in shell, 1dc/sc in last tr/dc of shell below, 3ch, shell in shell, 1tr/dc in 3rd ch, turn.


Repeat rows 2 – 9 until you have reached your desired length.
