What You’ll Need

Yarn & tools:

  • This design works with soft cotton yarns that show texture well. The sample shown uses Scheepjes Legacy #8 natural (100% cotton, 330 m / 100 g) — 5 skeins.
  • You'll also need a 2.5 mm (C/2 US) crochet hook, three buttons (1.5 cm / 0.6" diameter), and a tapestry needle. The pattern is written using US crochet terminology.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Construction:

This garment is worked from the top down in individual motifs joined as you go. Ribbing is worked sideways and attached to edges as you crochet.

Size & fit:

The pattern includes one base size (S/M) with detailed instructions for sizing up in two ways: using heavier yarn or adding an extra round to motifs. Finished measurements for the base size: bust 92 cm / 36", length 54 cm / 21.25".

Model is 174 cm (5'8.5") tall and wears size S.
