Materials
Fingering weight yarn, and crochet hook size 2.5 - 2.75 mm / C.
You may use any yarn of your choice, and a suitable hook.
Techniques used in this stitch
UK / US crochet term:
Chain Stitch – ch
Double crochet / Single crochet – dc/sc
Treble / Double crochet – tr/dc
Double treble / triple crochet – dtr/trc
Front Post treble / Front Post double crochet – FPtr/FPdc
Back Post treble / Back Post double crochet – BPtr/BPdc
Front Post dc / Front Post sc – FPdc/FPsc
Puff stitch – pff: yarn over, insert hook into space of 1ch (or st), yarn over, draw yarn through stitch. Repeat preceding step 3 times. Yarn over and draw through first 8 loops on hook, yarn over and draw through remaining 2 loops on hook.
Shell of 2 pff – shell: make 1pff + 1ch + 1pff in same space of 1ch (or st).
