Joining Crochet Motifs
Make a motif strip by joining motifs to each other. Connect motifs until you have reached your desired length of strip. Then join strips to each other.
Each side of motif consist of 13tr/dc. Connect one side with 13tr/dc to another using dc/sc join.
Make 2 foundation chains.
Insert the hook through 2 stitches and work dc/sc through both motifs.
For strip connection you should do the same.
In places where the small seam and seam of strip will be in contact, work next:
insert hook through 2 stitches and work incomplete dc/sc,
then insert it again through the last stitch where the small seam was made, work another incomplete dc/sc.
Then crochet all loops on hook.
Repeat this step, but at first insert hook through the last stitch where the small steam was made,
then insert it again through 2 stitches and crochet all loops on hook.
This step helps you to avoid holes between two seams.
