Materials
Fingering weight yarn, and crochet hook size 2.5 - 2.75 mm / C.
You may use any yarn of your choice, and a suitable hook.

Round 2: Make 4ch, * skip 1st, 1tr/dc in next st, 1ch; rep from * 10 more times, slt in third ch.
Round 3: Make 2ch and 2dc/sc in space of 4ch below, * work 1dc/sc in next tr/dc below, 2dc/sc in space of 1ch; rep from * 10 more times, make slt in second ch.
Round 4: Make 5ch, * skip 2st, 1dc/sc in next, make 4ch; rep from *, 9 more times, skip 2st, 1dc/sc in next, 1ch, make 1tr/dc in first ch.
Round 5: Make 1ch and 2dc/sc in space of tr/dc and 1ch below. Work first cable loop:
make 10ch, turn and work 1dc/sc in first dc/sc, turn, make 16dc/sc in ring of 10chs. Make 1dc/sc in same space of tr/dc and 1ch.
* Work 2dc/sc in next space of 4ch, work 1 loop for the cable (repeat instructions for the first loop), make 1dc/sc in same space of 4ch; rep from * 9 more times.
Work 2dc/sc in next space of 4ch, make a cord for the last cable loop:
work 11ch, skip first ch and work 1dc/sc in next ch, make 15dc/sc under remaining 9ch.
(11 cable loops and 1 cable cord).
Making the cable.
Pull the second loop through the first loop; then pull the third loop through the second loop; work in this manner to the cable cord.
Pull the cord through the 11th cable loop.
Pass the cord under 2 loops of the first cable loop.
Pull the cord through the 11th cable loop from front to back. Insert your hook through the first dc/sc of the cord and grab the dropped loop, pull it through the stitch.
Make 1dc/sc in space of 4ch below, work slt in first and second ds/sc of the round.
Round 6: Make 7ch, * skip 2st and work 1tr/dc in next st (middle dc/sc with the cable loop), 4ch; rep from *, 10 more times, make slt in third ch.
Round 7: Make 3ch and 4tr/dc in space of 7ch, * 2tr/dc + 1ch + 2tr/dc in next tr/dc, 4tr/dc in space of 4ch, 1tr/dc in next tr/dc below, 4tr/dc in next space of 4ch; rep from *, 4 more times, make 2tr/dc + 1ch + 2tr/dc in next tr/dc, 4tr/dc in space of 4ch and slt in third ch.
Round 8: Make 5ch, [ skip 2st, 1dc/sc in next] – make 2 times, * make 4ch, skip 1ch below, [ 1dc/sc in next st, 4ch, skip 2st ] – make 4 times, 1dc/sc in next st; rep from *, 4 more times, make 4ch, skip 1ch below, 1dc/sc in next st, 4ch, skip 2st, 1dc/sc in next st, make 1tr/dc in first ch of the round.
Round 9: Make 3ch and work 3tr/dc in space of tr/dc below, work 3tr/dc in next space of 5 ch, 3tr/dc in next space of 4ch, * make 2tr/dc + 1ch + 2tr/dc in next space of 4ch, [ 3tr/dc in next space of 4ch ] – make 4 times; rep from * 4 more times, 2tr/dc + 1ch + 2tr/dc in next space of 4ch, 3tr/dc in next space of 4ch, slt in third ch, fasten off.
Joining Use a “join-as-you-go” method to join crocheted motifs together.
Materials: hook size 4/0 - 2.5mm; 100% cotton, 50g - 250m;
Colors & rows: 1 – dark blue; 2 – white; 3 & 4 – grey; 5 – blue; 6 – white; 7 – grey; 8 – white; 9 - goldenrod.
