Materials
Pearl cotton, crochet thread size 12, and steel crochet hook size 1.25 - 1.50 mm / 10 - 8.
You may use any yarn of your choice, and a suitable hook.
Techniques used in this stitch
UK / US crochet term:
Chain stitch – ch
Double crochet / Single crochet – dc/sc
Treble / Double crochet – tr/dc
Shell – make 3tr/dc + 1 ch + 3tr/dc in the same space.

Part A: make 5ch, 1tr/dc in next tr/dc, 1ch, shell in shell, 3ch, shell in shell. Work a square: make 8ch, insert your hook under 3 chains of 12ch and work 1dc/sc;
turn, make 3ch, 1tr/dc in each of the next 8ch;
* turn, 3 ch, 1tr/dc in each of 7 tr/dc below, 1tr/dc in third ch; rep from * 2 more times.
Then work shell in in shell, 3ch, shell in shell.

Part A: make 5ch, 1tr/dc in next tr/dc, 1ch, shell in shell, 3ch, shell in shell. Work the square: crochet dc/sc in corner of previous square. Then make shell in shell, 3ch and shell in shell.
For part A repeat rows 5 – 14.
Part B: repeat row 2 of part B
Repeat given rows until you have reached your desired length.
Lower edge
Row 1:
Fasten to the last space of 2nd row and make 3ch, work 1tr/dc + 1ch + 2tr/dc in this space. Then work * 2tr/dc + 1ch + 2tr/dc in next space; rep from * 9 more times. Work in point: 2tr/dc + 1ch + 3tr/dc + 1ch + 3tr/dc + 1ch + 2tr/dc. Then repeat instructions from * to * 10 more times.
For the each of the next triangle skip its first space and repeat instructions from * to * 10 more times. Then make point as was written above and repeat instructions from * to * 10 more times.
Turn at the end of the row.
Row 2:
Make 1ch, * {1dc/sc in next space of 1ch} - repeat 2 times , { 1dc/sc in next space of 1ch, 7tr/dc in next space of 1ch} - repeat 8 times, {1dc/sc in next space of 1ch} - repeat 3 times;
rep from * over the each triangle.
